Dear valued clients and friends,
After nearly 30 years in business, I have decided to sell the Artefact Design & Salvage retail operation.
As a design showroom specializing in architectural antiques, new decor, and our own products, Artefact Design & Salvage Retail has built a stellar reputation with design professionals and home owners alike and is well known for offering interesting and truly unique one-of-a-kind items. We have long been a go-to source for architects, interior designers and landscape professionals seeking something out of the ordinary for their projects.
For me personally, Artefact Design & Salvage has been a passion project that has allowed me many adventures across the country and around the globe as the intrepid Finder of Objects. I am proud of the unique and inspiring items we have discovered over the years, especially those that continue to give daily pleasure to our appreciative customers. I look forward to passing on my knowledge and passion to the next owner.
While it is bittersweet to part with Artefact Design & Salvage, I believe that it is the right time for someone new to take the reins and realize the considerable potential of the business - or perhaps take it in a new direction. I am confident that Artefact Design & Salvage will thrive under new ownership and continue to provide exceptional products and experiences to our valued customers.
As for me, I am not retiring, but will put all my energy and focus into the manufacturing and development of my Artefact Curator line of products – something I have intended to do for a long time.

- All inventory gathered around the globe
- Equipment and fixtures (shop equipment negotiable)

- Worldwide network of exclusive resources, vendors and relationships developed over decades
- Existing mailing list of thousands of mostly affluent clients, design professionals and followers

- Showroom location that is available for at least another three years as of this writing
- Fully functional website with ecommerce capabilities
- Experienced employees may be available to continue
- Seller (Dave) willing to consult during transition for up to two years
Not included: 1) Ownership of the Artefact Curator portfolio of products that I will continue to manufacture, though they will certainly be available to sell through Artefact Design & Salvage. 2) Shop dog, Satchel.
